How to Work Out Invoices and Send them to the Client

This tutorial will show you how to work out invoices for the client, and send them the invoice. The client can also work out their own invoices from their account.

Click the Clients List link on the top menu to create client invoices.




On your list of clients, click the View link under Statements.




You can now choose the two dates you want to view the invoice from and to, for example jobs between June and July 2008. By clicking the same calendar icons next to the two dates you can choose the dates from the calender, or just type them in. Then click the Go button to view this invoice.




The total cost of the jobs is displayed at the bottom of the invoice so the client knows the total cost.


By clicking the Print button the application will generate a PDF file that will be downloaded on to your computer. You can then print this off as an invoice to either send through the post to your client, or email them the PDF document as an attachment.




The client themselves can also access their own statements by logging in to their account and going to their Reports section and clicking on Financial Statement. This will bring up the page where they can choose the dates of the jobs they want to include on the invoice, and get an invoice to print off for themselves.
