How to use the Email Templates

This tutorial will show you how to use the email templates to send automatic emails out to the yourself, the client, and the customer.

Click the MyAccount link on the top menu to edit the email templates.




Scroll down to the bottom of the page to a box that says 'Email Templates'. This box allows you to add variables to your emails by adding a simple code, for example, to include the customer's name, or add the booking reference number. You can edit the emails that go to you, the client, and the customer.




By clicking the View link for either Client, Company or Customer, you can view and edit the email that will be sent out when the Client makes a booking.


There are three variables that you can add to the email to display information. The PNR number can be added to the email by using the %PNR% variable, so that the PNR number of the booking will be shown. The Booking reference number variable %REF% can be added to show the booking reference number. For the copy of the email that goes out to the customer, the %NAME% variable can be used in the email to show the customer's name.


You can edit the email text however you want, and add the variables where ever you want them to show in the email. Once you've edited each email, click Save to save the changes.
